Introduction

When an app is created, the Profiles module is created by default (see Modules) and becomes accessible from an app's Profiles module page.

The Profiles module is a system module in which the access rights of the users to each system resource is defined. You can add new fields using the module designer to track additional profile information necessary for your app.

When an app is created, a fully authorized Administrator profile is generated by default. The initial user generated for the Jitterbit account creating the app in App Builder is automatically assigned to the Administrator profile.

Defining Profile Authorizations

Two different authorizations are defined on the Profiles module. First, information about whether the profile has access to the relevant module is defined for each module. After that, the actions (CRUD, Import, Export, Send Email) that can be performed on each module for the relevant profile are defined.

In addition to the operations that profiles can perform on the module, access rights to the records created in the modules are defined. A profile can be granted access to all records on a module, as well as the right to see records created by a certain number of users connected to the role tree.

In the system, unlimited profiles can be created according to the need. Assignment of created profiles to users is done in the Employees module.

Are There Any Additional Filters Required?

With the help of "And" and "Or" connectors, more than one filter can be created on the fields in the module.
