Cherwell Endpoint

Overview

The Jitterbit Harmony Cherwell Connector is accessed from the Connectivity tab of the design component palette:

This connector is used to first configure a Cherwell connection, establishing access to an account on The Cherwell connector uses the Cherwell REST API v1. Refer to the API documentation for information on the schema fields.

  • Get Records: Retrieves data from a Cherwell connection and is used as a source in an operation.

  • Post Records: Inserts new data into a Cherwell connection and is used as a target in an operation.

  • Put Records: Updates data into a Cherwell connection and is used as a target in an operation.

  • Delete Records: Deletes data into a Cherwell connection and is used as a target in an operation.

The Cherwell connector requires the use of an agent version 10.1 or higher.

Together, a specific Cherwell connection and its activities are referred to as a Cherwell endpoint. Once a connection is configured, activities associated with the endpoint are available from the Endpoints filter:

As the connection will be an application that interfaces with Cherwell, you will need to register at Cherwell as a developer with a free Cherwell account. At the Cherwell website, you can create an account.

NOTE: Take note of the client ID, hostname, username, and password you provide when signing up, as these are required to configure the Cherwell connection.
