Overview

As the connection will be an application that interfaces with DocuSign, you will need to retrieve credentials from the DocuSign Admin site. You can do this either with a paid DocuSign account (if you are using that with the DocuSign connector) or, if you are simply developing or testing, by registering as a developer at DocuSign and opening a free developer sandbox account.

Documentation on accessing DocuSign Admin is available at DocuSign documentation.

These settings are required to complete the Jitterbit Harmony DocuSign connection:

  • DocuSign User GUID (API Username)
  • DocuSign Integration Key (Client ID)
  • DocuSign Private Key
  • DocuSign Redirect URI

DocuSign User GUID (API Username)

To obtain this key, log in to the DocuSign account at the DocuSign Admin page, and from the Home page (either https://admin.docusign.com/admin-dashboard or https://admindemo.docusign.com/admin-dashboard), click the Users link in the left sidebar and then select the appropriate user. Click the Actions menu and select Edit to see the User Profile page:

DocuSign Integration Key (Client ID)

To obtain this key, log in to the same DocuSign account at the DocuSign Admin page, and navigate to the API and Keys page through the link in the left sidebar:

Click the Add App / Integration Key button to create a new API integration key:

This page allows you to create and obtain the other three keys required for the connection. The DocuSign Integration Key (Client ID) (first item outlined in red) can be copied using the button beside the key:

NOTE: When finished with this page, click the Save button to make sure that the changes (such as adding an RSA keypair) take effect.

DocuSign Private Key

To obtain this key, from the previous page click the Add RSA Keypair button to add a keypair. From the resulting dialog, copy and save the Private Key, shown outlined in red:

DocuSign Redirect URI

To set the value of the redirect URI, from the previous page click the Add URI button. Enter a redirect URI, such as https://www.jitterbit.com. This URL is the page that a user—such as yourself—of the connector configuration will be redirected to after granting permission at the DocuSign website. It may be any valid URL:
