Epicor ERP Configuration

Overview

The Jitterbit Harmony Epicor ERP Connector is accessed from the Connectivity tab of the design component palette:

Connectivity tab

This connector is used to first configure an Epicor ERP connection, establishing access to an account on the Epicor server, and then used to configure one or more Epicor activities associated with that connection as either a source or target within an operation:

  • Get: Retrieves data from an Epicor ERP connection and is used as a source in an operation.

  • Get BAQ: Retrieves data from an Epicor ERP connection using a BAQ (Business Activity Query) and is used as a source in an operation.

  • Put BAQ (UBAQ): Updates a Business Activity Query at an Epicor ERP connection and is used as a target in an operation.

  • Post: Inserts new data into an Epicor ERP connection and is used as a target in an operation.

  • Update: Inserts or updates data into an Epicor ERP connection and is used as a target in an operation.

  • Delete: Deletes data in an Epicor ERP connection and is used as a target in an operation.

The Epicor ERP connector uses the Epicor REST API, available in a Swagger UI from https://<epicor-host-name>/Server/api/help/. Refer to the API documentation for information on the schema fields. (A login to Epicor is required; substitute your Epicor host name in the above URL.)

The Epicor ERP connector requires the use of an agent version 10.1 or higher.

Together, a specific Epicor ERP connection and its activities are referred to as a Epicor ERP endpoint. Once a connection is configured, activities associated with the endpoint are available from the Endpoints filter:
