Search Marketplace¶
Introduction¶
To use Marketplace, you first search for integration recipes or recipe templates that meet your needs and then use the results to start one or more projects. Marketplace offers two ways to search, using filters or using the search bar.
Filters¶
You can search using any selection or combination of three filters:
- Type: Integration Recipe, Process Template, or both.
- Endpoint: A selection from a list of available endpoints used in the recipes or templates.
- Category: A selection from descriptive categories for recipes and templates, such as Finance, ERP, Sales & CRM, and others.
The number beside each filter label is the number of filter items selected and the number following the Filter label is the number of different filters that currently have been selected. For example, if you select two different endpoints and two categories, you will see Endpoints (2) for the two endpoint and Category (2) for the two categories Filters (4) is displayed because a total of four filter items was selected. Filters displays the number of filter items, not the number of filters.
Selecting a filter, except for Type, is exclusive. That is, adding additional filter selections narrows the search, showing results that share all selected filters. Recipes and templates do not use more than two endpoints. Selecting an endpoint limits your choice of the second endpoint to those recipes or templates that include your selection as the first or second endpoint.
Without any filters selected, all recipes and templates are available. Filters narrow down the list. Select the filters, and Marketplace begins to display matching results. For example, when you search for process templates that use the Epicor endpoint in the Finance category, these results are displayed:
Add the Salesforce endpoint to the existing search and the results are:
You can sort in both tile or list view by Title, Type, or Endpoints in ascending or descending order:
Click Clear to clear the Title, Type, or Endpoints choices. Click Clear All to clear all search filter selections.
Search Bar¶
For more sophisticated searches, use the search bar at the top of the page. You can search on endpoints, categories, and types, as well as text within the recipe and template descriptions.
Note
Search supports the AND
and NOT
operators. They must be all uppercase in the search. Lowercase or mixed-case operators are ignored. If a search term has multiple words, enclose the term in parentheses. To search in the Human Resources category, enter category:(Human Resources)
.
Searching on Types, Endpoints, and Categories¶
While you can perform simple exclusive searches on types, endpoints, and categories using the supplied filters, using the search bar you can perform more complicated and sophisticated searches.
Enter a filter followed by a colon and follow that with the search term. For example, endpoints:netsuite endpoints:magento
returns all results with either NetSuite or Magento, but endpoints:netsuite AND endpoints:magento
returns only those results with both NetSuite and Magento:
To exclude a search term, use NOT
. For example, endpoints:netsuite AND workday NOT type: recipe
returns all process templates with a NetSuite and Workday endpoint.
Note
When using the search bar, deleting text in the search bar does not reset the search. After deleting the text press Enter
and the results are cleared.
Searching on Descriptions¶
You can search within the recipe and template descriptions using the search bar. To search for all recipes or templates with the phrase HCM (for Human Capital Management), enter HCM
in the search bar_._ Any recipe or template with HCM in its description is returned:
Using Filters and the Search Bar¶
You can use both the filters and the search bar together. In the following example, a search for process templates with "crm" in the description with the Salesforce endpoint and in the Finance category displays the result:
