If your company network is using a proxy to access the internet, you may be required to enter the proxy settings into Jitterbit Studio, Cloud Data Loader, or local Harmony Local Agent. By using a proxy, the computers within your company do not connect directly with a website. When you enter a website into your browser, the browser forwards a request to the proxy and the proxy actually connects to the website. Your proxy receives the responses sent by the website and forwards the responses to your browser. The proxy may be embedded into your router, or it may be a completely separate server. The user may be able to access the proxy settings in the browser settings on the computer, or it may be necessary to contact the Network Administrator or 3rd party vendor that set up the internet access to get the correct settings.
