5.x Users and Groups¶
Jitterbit provides a User Console where you can define users, then group them according to which projects, operations, and other definitions they should be able to access.

There are two ways you can access the User Console:

In the Administration environment's Console pane, Click the User Console button.

Select Administration Console from the View menu, then choose User Console from the sub-menu.

The console appears in its own Users & Groups: tab in the right pane of the window.

If you want to access the current set of users and groups that are on the server, Click the Download button in the Users & Groups toolbar. The Users and Groups fields will load their respective members from the server.
Working with Users¶
Follow these steps to modify an existing user or to create a new user:

Select any existing user ID to modify it, or Click the Add New button in the Users section to create a new user.

Enter/modify the user's details in the Details area.

(Optional) If you have one or more groups defined to which this user should belong, Click the Add button under the Member of: list, then select which group(s) to which the user should belong.

Click the Upload button in the toolbar to upload your changes to the server.
Working with Groups¶
Follow these steps to modify an existing group or to create a new group:

Select any existing group to modify it, or Click the Add New button in the Groups section to create a new group.

Enter/modify the group's name and description in the Details area.

(Optional) If you have one or more users defined who should belong to this group, Click the Add button under the Members: list, then select the desired set of users.

Click the Upload button in the toolbar to upload your changes to the server.
