10.43 Harmony release notes
10.43.1 Harmony patch
The 10.43.1 Harmony patch was deployed in all regions (APAC, EMEA, and NA) on 20 October 2021.
Included in this patch is a fix to Cloud Studio.
Fixes
Cloud Studio
- Renaming an operation now renames it in script references
When renaming an operation that is referenced in a script and whose former name included certain special characters, such as a hyphen, the new name is now propagated appropriately. If you have renamed such an operation since the 10.42 release, check its references in any scripts and reinsert references if needed.
10.43 Harmony release
The 10.43 release date is by region:
-
APAC: 14 October 2021 (AEDT), October 13, 2021 (PDT)
-
EMEA: 14 October 2021
-
NA: October 18, 2021
Included in this release are updates to these Harmony components:
- Harmony portal and its applications
- Design Studio
- Private agents
- Sandbox Cloud Agent Group
The Sandbox Cloud Agent Group and web applications accessed through the Harmony portal are updated at the time of the release. Private agent installers are available in each region as of the conclusion of each region's release.
As of October 5, 2021, private agent version 10.25 has reached end of life and is no longer supported. We recommend that all users of these (and earlier) versions upgrade to the latest versions as soon as practicable.
New features
Cloud Studio
-
Amazon SQS and Elasticsearch connectors
Two new connectors — Amazon SQS and Elasticsearch — are available to use with agents version 10.1 or later. They will automatically be downloaded by an agent as required. -
Amazon SQS: Get, send, or delete Amazon Simple Queue (SQS) messages or create a queue.
- Elasticsearch: Search, get or create documents, or get, create, delete, open, or close an index.
Management Console and Cloud Studio
- Audit logging
You can now enable audit logging for a Harmony organization to retrieve logs of user login and activity taking place in Management Console and Cloud Studio.
Enhancements
Cloud Studio
- Proxy support added to additional connectors
These connectors now have an option in their connection configuration to use private agent proxy settings: Jira and Workday.
Fixes
Agent
-
Source files are now deleted as appropriate
When archiving data using the After Processing option Delete File on a file-based source in combination with the Compression option Compress Target Files on a file-based target, all matching source files are now deleted instead of only one of the source files. -
PgBouncer
configuration is now used
During installation of a 64-bit Windows private agent, in some cases Jitterbit Services would connect to PostgreSQL directly instead of using thePgBouncer
configuration. This issue has been fixed. -
Drivers are now reported correctly in the configuration file
After doing an advanced install of a 64-bit Windows private agent where PostgreSQL is already installed, the correct PostgreSQL driver information is now reported in the private agent configuration file.
Design Studio
-
Salesforce Query now supports international characters
International characters are no longer incorrectly processed in a Salesforce query operation configured to use UTF-8 encoding. -
Instance functions now work correctly after transformation refresh
Transformation mappings using theSetInstance
andGetInstance
functions no longer result in an error after using Refresh All Transformations. This issue did not occur when refreshing transformations individually.
Harmony platform
- Unexpected errors during deploy reduced
When attempting to deploy a project, a message indicating that an unexpected error occurred no longer occurs as a result of having deleted project components.
Cloud Studio
-
Invalid mappings now appear as invalid
When a source schema is refreshed and no longer contains source objects that have been mapped to target fields, the mappings now (correctly) appear as invalid. Previously, they were incorrectly shown as valid until each target field script had been reopened. -
JMS connector with ActiveMQ now works
The JMS connector now downloads the ActiveMQ JAR file into the correct location on private agents. Previously, an error occurred indicating that a class could not be instantiated, which required users to move the JAR file to the correct location. -
BMC Helix ITSM TMS:Task Update now succeeds
A BMC Helix ITSM Update activity for the TMS:Task form no longer fails with an error related to a Request ID. -
Snowflake Merge now loads its schemas
A Snowflake Merge activity now loads its request and response schemas as expected. Previously, an error occurred with some Snowflake instances. -
Shopify
Products
weight
now handles decimals
A Shopify Create or Update activity configured for theProducts
object now uses a double (decimal) data type instead of an integer data type in itsweight
field. -
Zendesk Query
Users
no longer has an extra subelement warning
A Zendesk Query activity configured for theUsers
object no longer produces a warning about an extra subelement in its response.
Notices
NetSuite
-
NetSuite deprecation of HMAC-SHA1
Changes are required to any projects using HMAC-SHA1 as the signature algorithm. For a timeline of key dates and instructions on how to change the signature algorithm, see NetSuite HMAC-SHA1 deprecation.Warning
As NetSuite will no longer support HMAC-SHA1, you must change any Harmony projects that are presently using HMAC-SHA1 as the signature algorithm to use HMAC-SHA256 instead as soon as possible to avoid issues with those integrations.
