As of November 8, 2022 Design Studio and private agent version 10.44 have reached end of life and are no longer supported. We recommend that all users of these (and earlier) versions upgrade to the latest versions as soon as practicable.

New features

Cloud Studio

  • SMB connector
The SMB connector can be used to return all files in a folder, or create, update, or delete files or folders in a remote server using the SMB (Server Message Block) protocol. This connector can be used with private agents 10.1 or later.

  • PostgreSQL upgrade
In the 11.0 agent version, the PostgreSQL database bundled with the agent is now version 14.5-1.

    • Cloud agents: The Jitterbit Cloud Agent Groups are being upgraded to 11.0 agents in this release.

    • Private agents: The private agent version being released is 10.62, which remains packaged with the existing 9.6.24-1 PostgreSQL database. A private agent version with the 14.5-1 PostgreSQL database will be provided in a future release.

App Builder

  • New UI flow steps and options
In the UI flows build page, two new steps as listed below are available to call a microflow and ask for user validation. In addition, the Go to Page step has been renamed to Exit with Action and now provides the option to stop processing current event actions at the completion of the UI flow.

    • Call Microflow: Calls a specific microflow when a certain parameter or a record is provided. A toggle provides the option to wait for the result of the microflow (working asynchronously).

    • Ask User Validation: Prompts a user for approval or rejection.

  • Ability to designate a record as a draft
All modules have a new Is Draft system field that can be used to mark a record as a draft. Such records are not displayed to app users but are shown in lookups with their internal and external IDs.

  • Better navigation to apps
The app developer’s UI apps page now has a search bar to find apps by name, as well as a filter to display apps by environment and a toggle for displaying released apps only.

  • App and active user summary
In the app developer’s UI, an app’s Overview page now reports a summary of the number of modules, microflows, and UI flows in the app. When clicked, you are redirected to the appropriate build page. For released apps, the summary also displays the number of active app users by environment.

Cloud Studio

  • Email connector support for OAuth 2.0 and proxy settings
An Email connection can now be configured with OAuth 2.0 authentication. When using OAuth 2.0 authentication, the connector also now supports private agent proxy settings.

  • HTTP v2 (beta) connector multipart support and additional settings
The HTTP v2 (beta) PUT, POST, and PATCH activities now have a Multipart checkbox to support multipart form data when using default schemas. In addition, you can now set additional key-value pairs in the Additional Settings area of HTTP v2 (beta) activities: content-type and trailing-linebreaks.

API gateway

  • API gateway installation process change
Private API gateway version 10.62 and later require additional packages to be installed, and commands required for an uninstall have changed. Follow the documented instructions for new installs, upgrades, and uninstalls.

API gateway

  • SSL certificate persistence after an upgrade
Starting with private API gateway version 10.62 onward, SSL certificates are now retained during an upgrade. When upgrading from prior API gateway versions, you must reinstall SSL certificates after an upgrade.

  • APIs no longer intermittently fail with a 502 error
In API Manager, some APIs no longer intermittently fail with a Bad Gateway (502) error resulting in a failure to trigger the operation.

This fix was released as a patch in private API gateway version 10.62.1 and as a cloud API gateway system maintenance. See Patch and system maintenance date 2 earlier on this page.

Cloud Studio

  • HTTP v2 (beta) activity execution no longer tests the base URL
When using select authorization types (API Key, Basic Auth, Bearer Token, or No Auth), the URL configured in an HTTP v2 (beta) Connection activity is no longer tested against during execution of an HTTP v2 (beta) activity. Instead, the URL defined in the activity is used. This fixes an error being returned when an endpoint-specific base URL correctly returns no response.

  • MongoDB Query activity projection type is now case-insensitive
The field projectionType in the request of a MongoDB Query activity is no longer case-sensitive.

  • VTEX Read activity now returns the expected responses
A VTEX Read activity now returns the expected response instead of a blank response for the Master Data V2 object > Customer Profiles sub-object > Get Unmasked Address action. In addition, the Orders object > Get Order action now uses the correct response schema for the deliveryWindow field.

  • VTEX Upsert activity now uses the correct data type for pricing decimals
When using a VTEX Upsert activity with the Pricing object > Prices and Fixed Prices sub-object > Create or update Price or Fixed Price or Create or update fixed prices on a price table or trade policy actions, decimal values for prices are now handled as numbers instead of integers.

This fix was released as a patch after the initial release. See Patch date 1 earlier on this page.

  • Via B2B cart simulation orders can now be retrieved
In a Via B2B Read activity, the Orders object > Cart simulation sub-object can now be used successfully instead of returning an error at runtime.

This fix was released as a patch after the initial release. See Patch date 1 earlier on this page.

Harmony platform

  • Login error when using Zscaler no longer occurs
Users logging in from a machine using Zscaler can now log in successfully. Previously, a generic exception was occurring after entering their password.

  • Large projects can now be deleted
Projects containing several thousand files can now be deleted. Previously, an exception occurred on attempting to delete the project due to its size.

Harmony portal

  • Menu now includes the Trusted IP Groups page
You can now navigate to API Manager > Trusted IP Groups in the Harmony portal menu. Previously, this page was accessible only within API Manager.

Jitterbit CRM REST connector

NetSuite, Cloud Studio, and Design Studio

  • HMAC-SHA1 deprecation and removal from the Cloud Studio and Design Studio UI
NetSuite is deprecating HMAC-SHA1 as a valid signature algorithm as previously announced (see NetSuite HMAC-SHA1 deprecation). To support these changes, Jitterbit intends to remove the HMAC-SHA1 signature algorithm from the Cloud Studio and Design Studio UI in an upcoming Harmony release.

As the HMAC-SHA1 signature algorithm will no longer be supported by NetSuite or the Harmony NetSuite connectors, you should change any Harmony projects that are presently using HMAC-SHA1 as the signature algorithm to use HMAC-SHA256 as soon as possible to avoid issues with those integrations.
