New Features

Cloud Studio

Enhancements

Agent

  • Apache Tomcat upgrade
The Apache Tomcat server included with the agent has been upgraded to version 8.5.85 to improve security and performance.

App Builder

  • Jitterbit Support authorization
A new Authorize Support Team Access toggle on an app’s Overview page can be used to allow access to the app’s backend database by generating a temporary key for you to share with a Jitterbit Support representative.

Cloud Studio

  • Epicor Kinetic timeout settings
During configuration of an Epicor Kinetic connection, you can now specify the Connection Timeout for the connection and the Request Timeout for associated activities.

  • Jira Search and Create activity editable schemas
The schemas generated for Jira Search and Create activities can now be edited to change the request and response structures as needed.

  • RabbitMQ Consume (Beta) activity
The RabbitMQ connector has a new Consume (Beta) activity that listens for messages published in a RabbitMQ queue. The activity must be run on a Private Agent in an operation that has event listening enabled.

  • Salesforce Events (Beta) support for receiving past events
The Salesforce Events (Beta) Subscribe activity configuration screen now provides an option to receive only new events sent after subscribing or to receive both new events and past events sent within the past 24 hours.

  • Shopify connector support for Shopify API version 2023-01
A Shopify connection now has the option to select the version of the Shopify REST Admin API, either 2022-04 (default) or 2023-01 (newly supported). The added support for 2023-01 enables you to migrate from deprecated Fulfillment API endpoints. For additional information, see details on impacted projects and required user action.

  • SMB connecter performance enhancement
The SMB connector has increased overall performance, such as faster interaction with the user interface and improved execution time.

  • Additional connector support for re-authentication
The Enable Re-authentication on Change security setting is supported by additional connectors. See the list of connectors with support including links to documentation detailing the affected fields.

  • Distinctive colors of operation status icons
The icon colors associated with these operation statuses are now distinctive: Success with Child Error and Success with Warning are now yellow, and Success with Info is now blue. Previously, the icon color was green for each of these statuses.

Management Console

  • Dashboard page enhancements
The Management Console Dashboard page now autorefreshes data every minute. In addition, you can now drag and drop the tiles to reorder them.

Changes

App Builder

  • Action required: Existing button filters need to be reset
With this release, existing button filters will stop working without manual user action. Once the release takes effect (see Date Set 1 above), for filters to keep working, you must remove each filter in a button, save the button, re-add each button filter that you removed, and save the button again.

Fixes

Agent

  • Agent performance improved
Agent performance has been improved and fewer errors now occur when running high throughput over many hours.

  • NetSuite connector custom fields for the Estimate object are now shown
Custom fields for the Estimate object are now visible in the Cloud Studio NetSuite Search and Design Studio NetSuite Search activities.

Cloud Studio

  • BigCommerce Create activity value_data now works
Providing data in the value_data field of a BigCommerce Create activity request no longer returns an error.

  • Microsoft Teams Send Message activity response updated
The response from a Microsoft Teams Send Message activity has been updated to reflect recent changes in the Microsoft Graph REST API. This resolves an error that occurred when this response was used as input for a Microsoft Teams Chat activity.

  • Salesforce Einstein Analytics connection no longer requires a security token
A Salesforce Einstein Analytics connection no longer fails if the security token isn’t specified. A security token may not be required if, for example, the Salesforce instance is using single sign-on with a third-party identity provider and has included Cloud Agent or Private Agent IP addresses in Salesforce trusted IP ranges.

Harmony Platform

  • Audit logging now logs the environment ID and name during deploys
When audit logging is enabled on an organization, the Environment ID and Environment Name are now logged as expected for deploy events.

Notices

Agent

  • Jitterbit’s intention to stop distributing Private Agent 10.x
Jitterbit intends to stop distributing a 10.x Private Agent version within the next several Harmony releases. Since Harmony release 10.63 / 11.1, both a 10.x and 11.x Private Agent version have been distributed with these differences:

    • 11.x versions: In 11.1 and later versions, the PostgreSQL database bundled with the Private Agent is now version 14.5-1.
    • 10.x versions: Current 10.x versions are packaged with the existing 9.6.24-1 PostgreSQL. The distributed 10.x versions will continue to be supported in accordance with Jitterbit’s end-of-life policy.

    Note

Upgrading to an 11.x Windows Private Agent from 10.x requires a complete uninstall. Follow the documented instructions to complete the upgrade. Linux Private Agents can be upgraded as usual from any 10.x version.

Shopify Connector, Cloud Studio

  • Shopify Fulfillment API deprecation
Shopify has announced it is deprecating some endpoints on its Fulfillment API on June 30, 2023. Customers with Cloud Studio projects using the Shopify connector with deprecated Fulfillment API endpoints must reconfigure the connector as soon as possible, or operations using the deprecated API endpoints will begin failing after June 30, 2023. For additional information, see details on impacted projects and required user action.

NetSuite Connector, Cloud Studio, and Design Studio

  • HMAC-SHA1 deprecation and removal from the Cloud Studio and Design Studio UI
NetSuite is deprecating HMAC-SHA1 as a valid signature algorithm as previously announced (see NetSuite HMAC-SHA1 Deprecation). To support these changes, Jitterbit intends to remove the HMAC-SHA1 signature algorithm from the Cloud Studio and Design Studio UI in an upcoming Harmony release.

    Warning

As the HMAC-SHA1 signature algorithm will no longer be supported by NetSuite or the Harmony NetSuite connectors, you should change any Harmony projects that are presently using HMAC-SHA1 as the signature algorithm to use HMAC-SHA256 as soon as possible to avoid issues with those integrations.
