10.86 / 11.24 Harmony Release

This page includes release notes for all generally available components being released as part of 10.86 / 11.24. Compilations of release notes for Production Cloud Agent Groups, Sandbox Cloud Agent Groups, and Private Agents are also available.

The 10.86 / 11.24 release is staggered based on the dates and times as listed below by component and region. You can subscribe to maintenance notifications for cloud-based components at Jitterbit Trust. Locally installed components are available from the Downloads page (except for the Docker Private Agent, which is available at Docker Hub). The end-of-life date for these components is one year after the release date.

New Features

Cloud Studio

EDI

  • Transaction archive
The Archive page lists and allows you to restore transactions that have been archived according to a trading partner's archive settings.

Enhancements

API Manager

  • API name support for parentheses
Parentheses ( ) are now allowed in the API Name of a Custom API or OData Service and the Proxy Name of a Proxy API.

  • Visual indicator of incomplete API service configurations
API service configurations that are incomplete are now shown with an error icon next to the service name.

  • Ability to define a custom method
During configuration of a custom API, a request method of CUSTOM can now be selected for an API service. When selected, you provide the Custom Method Name.

Cloud Studio

  • Cloud Studio response times improved
The response time to trigger the following actions has been improved:

    • Executing, deploying, canceling, and deleting operations

    • Deploying and deleting workflows

    • Deploying and deleting projects

  • Confirmation dialog for clearing connection values
When the Re-authentication on change organization policy is enabled and you are editing a connection value affected by this policy, a confirmation dialog now notifies you that field values will be cleared.

  • Connection usability improvements and updates
The following connectors have usability improvements to the connection configuration UI or additional properties that can be configured:

  • BigCommerce activity editable schemas
The schemas generated for BigCommerce activities can now be edited to change the request and response structures as needed.

  • Email connector sensitivity and importance are now optional
An Email Send Email activity’s Sensitivity and Importance fields can now be left empty and by default are unset.

  • JMS connector support for custom providers on Private Agents
A JMS connection now has the option to select Custom (Private Agent Only) as the JMS Provider. When selected, you must also configure a custom JMS provider on the Private Agent.

  • VTEX connector support for catalog specification groups
During configuration, VTEX Read, Create, and Update activities now support the Catalog object > Specification Group sub-object and relevant actions for list, get, create, and update.

Design Studio

  • General updates
Design Studio has general updates for improved security and performance.

Harmony Portal

  • CAPTCHA requirement
Once the number of Harmony Portal login attempts reaches a certain threshold, CAPTCHA is now enforced.

  • 3LO refresh token expiration enhancements
A banner notifying you that the refresh token for 3-legged OAuth endpoints is about to expire or has already expired is now shown when accessing any Harmony Portal cloud application. In addition, the text of the email notification has been improved for readability.

Fixes

Agent

  • Error status is no longer reported for re-routed operations
If an agent is incapable of processing an operation and that operation is automatically re-routed to a different agent in the group for processing, an error status is no longer reported in the operation log.

API Gateway

Cloud Studio

  • Slow response time of deploy errors fixed
When attempting to deploy a project that has invalid components, an error message is now returned immediately instead of taking several seconds to appear.

  • Local endpoints using variables can no longer be promoted to global
When attempting to promote a project-level endpoint that uses a variable within its configuration to a global connection, you are now prevented from doing so and an error indicates the endpoint cannot be promoted.

  • Transformation mapping UI issue fixed
The visual display of referenced objects in mapped fields is now vertical instead of horizontal.

  • Amazon S3 connector AWS SDK downgrade
The version of the AWS SDK for Java used by the Amazon S3 connector has been downgraded from version 1.12.524 to 1.11.604. This resolves an Access Denied error that was occurring when the bucket name includes folder paths.

  • BigCommerce activity schema updates
Multiple fixes have been made to the schemas generated by applicable BigCommerce activities using the following objects:

    • Catalog: The mpn, gtin, map_price, id, image_url, calculated_weight, brand_name, and brand_id fields have been added or corrected.

    • Customers V3: The data type of the form_fields response node has been changed from a string to an array.

    • Orders V2: The include field has been added to the request schema for the Get an Order sub-object.

  • SOAP activity creation error is now surfaced
When attempting to create an instance of a SOAP activity from a SOAP connection that has a malformed WSDL, an error is now displayed instead of failing to create the activity without any user feedback.

Notices

Agent

  • Jitterbit’s intention to stop distributing Private Agent 10.x
Jitterbit intends to stop distributing a 10.x Private Agent version within the next several Harmony releases. Since Harmony release 10.63 / 11.1, both a 10.x and 11.x Private Agent version have been distributed with these differences:

    • 11.x versions: In 11.1 and later versions, the PostgreSQL database bundled with the Private Agent is now version 14.5-1.

    • 10.x versions: Current 10.x versions are packaged with the existing 9.6.24-1 PostgreSQL. The distributed 10.x versions will continue to be supported in accordance with Jitterbit’s end-of-life policy.

    Note

Upgrading to an 11.x Windows Private Agent from 10.x requires a complete uninstall. Follow the documented instructions to complete the upgrade. Linux Private Agents can be upgraded as usual from any 10.x version.

NetSuite Connector, Cloud Studio, and Design Studio

  • HMAC-SHA1 deprecation and removal from the Cloud Studio and Design Studio UI
NetSuite is deprecating HMAC-SHA1 as a valid signature algorithm as previously announced (see NetSuite HMAC-SHA1 Deprecation). To support these changes, Jitterbit intends to remove the HMAC-SHA1 signature algorithm from the Cloud Studio and Design Studio UI in an upcoming Harmony release.

    Warning

As the HMAC-SHA1 signature algorithm will no longer be supported by NetSuite or the Jitterbit Harmony NetSuite connectors, you should change any Jitterbit Harmony projects that are presently using HMAC-SHA1 as the signature algorithm to use HMAC-SHA256 as soon as possible to avoid issues with those integrations.
