10.80 / 11.18 Harmony Release

This page includes release notes for all generally available components being released as part of 10.80 / 11.18. Compilations of release notes for Production Cloud Agent Groups, Sandbox Cloud Agent Groups, and Private Agents are also available.

The 10.80 / 11.18 release is staggered based on the dates and times as listed below by component and region. You can subscribe to maintenance notifications for cloud-based components at Jitterbit Trust. Locally installed components are available from the Downloads page (except for the Docker Private Agent, which is available at Docker Hub). The end-of-life date for these components is one year after the release date.

New Features

Cloud Studio

Enhancements

Agent

API Manager

  • Support for a global variable as the final response target for an API
Custom APIs configured with a Response Type of Final Target now support a Cloud Studio Variable Write activity or Design Studio Global Variable target as the final target in the operation chain. When the global variable is defined with a response schema, the generated OpenAPI documentation now includes the defined schema.

Cloud Studio

  • Google Drive connector support for shared drives
Google Drive connector activities now have a Support All Drives checkbox that controls whether their requests support shared drives. The List Files activity also has an Include Items from All Drives checkbox that can be used to include files from shared drives in its response.

  • Microsoft SSAS connector enhancements
Multiple enhancements have been made to the Microsoft SSAS connector:

    • The new Execute activity can be used to execute a procedure in Microsoft SSAS.

    • The Query activity has a new field, Use Quote for SQL, to enable support for column names with spaces.

    • The sys_procedureparameters table has a new column: Default.

    • A new system table is available: sys_lastresultinfo.

    • The SELECT INTO CSV statement is no longer supported.

  • Mirakl connector configurable instance URL
A Mirakl connection now has an Instance URL field where you can configure the specific URL of your Mirakl instance. This enables support for instance URLs that are not in the default supported format.

  • MongoDB connector support for sort and aggregate
The MongoDB Query activity request schema now includes a sort node and configuration step 2 now provides for the specification of a sort property and ordering type. In addition, the request schema also now includes an aggregate node that provides support for aggregate operations.

  • Sage Intacct connector enhancements
Multiple enhancements have been made to the Sage Intacct connector:

    • The new Execute activity can be used to execute a procedure in Sage Intacct.

    • The Create activity now supports inserting records into attachments.

    • The Create and Update activities now support inserting or updating custom entity objects.

    • Two new connection properties are available: IncludeGLEntries and EnableSubscriptions.

    • An additional AuthScheme for basic read credentials is available.

    • The sys_procedureparameters table has a new column: Default.

    • A new system table is available: sys_lastresultinfo.

    • The SELECT INTO CSV statement is no longer supported.

  • VTEX connector support for creating products and SKUs by ID
The VTEX Create activity request schema now includes an id field for the Catalog object > Product sub-object > Create Product and Create Product and SKU actions, and the Catalog object > SKU sub-object > Create SKU action.

  • Additional verbose logging details for multiple connectors
Enabling verbose logging with the Correios and Workday connectors results in the generation of additional log information beyond that already generated. To generate the additional log details, a new format of the configuration entry is required as documented on the linked pages.

Changes

Private API Gateway

  • General changes
General changes to the Private API Gateway are for internal purposes. The changes do not affect current gateway functionality.

Fixes

API Manager

  • Service root URL-safe character error with allowed characters no longer occurs
Existing API Manager APIs whose service root contains certain allowed special characters no longer report an error indicating only URL-safe characters can be used. This issue began occurring with the 10.79 release and has since been resolved.

Cloud Studio

  • Database Query activity now retains its existing configuration
When editing a Database Query activity, the existing configuration is no longer cleared on advancing to configuration step 2 using the Next button. (The existing configuration was retained when navigating directly to step 2 using the number icons.)

  • Jira Search activity now encodes special characters in comments
The Jira Search activity no longer returns unprocessable XML due to comments having special characters. Previously, though the activity execution would be successful, the subsequent transformation would fail with the error: Failed to parse XML document Errors: invalid character reference.

  • Salesforce Query activity configuration now caches existing objects
When editing an existing Salesforce Query activity, the related objects presented for selection in step 2 are no longer auto-refreshed every time the step is opened. Previously, complex queries could take several minutes to finish the refresh or result in a 502 error.

  • Shopify Create activity runtime error with the Product object no longer occurs
An exception is no longer returned when executing a Shopify Create activity that creates meta fields in the Product object. This resolves an issue with the Jitterbit Epicor-Shopify Order-to-Fulfillment Process Template.

  • WooCommerce Update activity now uses HTTPS as expected
A WooCommerce Update activity associated with a WooCommerce connection configured to use the HTTPS connection type no longer sends the request over HTTP. Previously, the API URL was not being formed properly.

  • Performance of transformation UI interactions is improved
Opening, saving, and expanding/collapsing mapping scripts within a transformation that contains a lot of mapped variables is now faster.

  • Project migration screen search UI is now as expected
On the project migration screen, the user interface of the project variable search results is now displayed as expected.

Notices

Agent

  • Jitterbit’s intention to stop distributing Private Agent 10.x
Jitterbit intends to stop distributing a 10.x Private Agent version within the next several Harmony releases. Since Harmony release 10.63 / 11.1, both a 10.x and 11.x Private Agent version have been distributed with these differences:

    • 11.x versions: In 11.1 and later versions, the PostgreSQL database bundled with the Private Agent is now version 14.5-1.

    • 10.x versions: Current 10.x versions are packaged with the existing 9.6.24-1 PostgreSQL. The distributed 10.x versions will continue to be supported in accordance with Jitterbit’s end-of-life policy.

      Note

Upgrading to an 11.x Windows Private Agent from 10.x requires a complete uninstall. Follow the documented instructions to complete the upgrade. Linux Private Agents can be upgraded as usual from any 10.x version.

NetSuite Connector, Cloud Studio, and Design Studio

  • HMAC-SHA1 deprecation and removal from the Cloud Studio and Design Studio UI
NetSuite is deprecating HMAC-SHA1 as a valid signature algorithm as previously announced (see NetSuite HMAC-SHA1 Deprecation). To support these changes, Jitterbit intends to remove the HMAC-SHA1 signature algorithm from the Cloud Studio and Design Studio UI in an upcoming Harmony release.

    Warning

As the HMAC-SHA1 signature algorithm will no longer be supported by NetSuite or the Harmony NetSuite connectors, you should change any Harmony projects that are presently using HMAC-SHA1 as the signature algorithm to use HMAC-SHA256 as soon as possible to avoid issues with those integrations.
