Vinyl¶

Overview¶

Vinyl is Jitterbit's enterprise low-code application platform (LCAP) that enables users to build end-to-end, enterprise-grade applications with sophisticated logic, workflows, security, and integrations without the need to know a programming language.

For licensed Vinyl users, the Harmony Portal provides access to a configured Vinyl instance through its Vinyl tile:

Documentation resources for Vinyl are organized into these general categories:

• Get Started
  Introductory material for new users to get started with Vinyl, including a quick start guide and security overview.

• Set Up
  Information required for installing and configuring a Vinyl server to run your Vinyl apps, including system requirements, installation instructions, and configuration information.

• Navigate
  A description of the parts of the user interface, such as the site menu, action drawer, live designer, design center, app workbench, and IDE.

  Documentation on configuring data servers, security providers, notification servers, and REST APIs.
