Summary¶

Returns a string that is the result of concatenating two string values.

Syntax¶

CONCAT(<string1>, <string2>)

Parameters¶

string1, string2¶

A reference to a string column or a literal string.

Returns¶

The concatenation of the two string values.

Remarks¶

A shortcut syntax for concatenation is ||.

Examples¶

CONCAT('Hello', 'World')

or

'Hello' || 'World'

Returns

HelloWorld
