mvSQL Database Function - REPLACE()¶

Summary¶

Replaces all occurrences of a specified string value with another string value.

Syntax¶

REPLACE(<string>, <substring>, <replacement>)

Parameters¶

string¶

The string to evaluate.

substring¶

The substring to search for.

replacement¶

The replacement string.

Returns¶

A string with all substrings replaced by the given replacement string.

Examples¶

REPLACE('Portland USA', 'USA', 'America')

Returns

Portland America
